WELCOME TO R.C.'s PATCH COLLECTING PAGE

Thank you for visiting my patch collecting pages.
I start collecting patches when someone gave me a Escondido P.D. patch back in 1982. The hobby lasted about a year. Came back in '87 but dropped out in a several months.... Returned to this hobby again in '96. And this time, I'm still collecting....
I just counted all of the patches I have in my collection. As of Oct. 20, 2005 there are 10,066 patches and just about 2/3 of them are California Law Enforcement patches.
I'm always looking for California collections to purchase. If you have one for sale or you are getting out of hobby----let me know.
This site is nothing fancy or entertaining or anything like that. Just to let other collectors know which patches I'm looking for and I have to trade. (or for sale). I maintain a pretty good size traders. The last count I had more than 1000 patches to trade. I'll try to update it as often as possible. But you know how that goes........

Before we trade... I would like to believe all of my fellow patch collectors are honest. However I have had problems with few people in the past. I must set this trade policy for everybody's sake.
NEW POLICY (Rev. May 30, 2003)
:Due to recent problems I had with collectors, I have adapted a new policy.
--Current style California patches are available FOR SALE ONLY to 1) Active or retired
Peace Officers with proper credentials - must be verifiable documentation, 2) Those individuals who are known to me
as a bona fide patch collector.
--- Please Do Not ask me for free patches, ( pretend to be a school teacher collecting patches for kids ,being dying of illness, lost job and have no money for a patch, etc..), since most of the patches I have, I had to pay for them myself. I 'm sure you will understand.
--- I do not trade (sell) patches to anyone under the age of 18.
--- If you initiated the trade, you send your patches first.
--- If I initiated the trade ,I will send mine first
--- If you are responding to my need ads or have patches on my need list, I'll send you mine first.
:I collect California Police /Sheriff patches, Montana Sheriff's patches, Arizona Police Dept., Colorado Police Dept., Oregon Police Dept. & Washington Police Dept. I do not have in my collection.
: I prefer trading patches whenever possible, however I will make my patches available for you to purchase (except for those marked with trade only).
:Scanned images of all of my traders are available upon request.
:All the patches I have are came from patch collections I have purchased, individual patch collectors, authorized uniform stores, Law Enforcement Agencies.
:I do not sell, trade or accept any reproductions or unauthorized remake patches.
:For those I have traded with before---The patches will be sent the same day (or the following day) the deal is made.
:You are welcome to return my patches if you are not satisfied with them for any reason and I expect the same from you.
